100% organic Barbera from limestone and schist soil at 2,000’ elevation in the Sierra Foothills. Hand picked with 100% stem inclusion but no carbonic maceration. Minimal SO2.

Named in honor of a steadfast, loyal donkey, this wine is not the romantic lead that you immediately fall in love with (like Nebbiolo). She’s the quirky bestie.

But it is delicious. Deep, dark cherry hue with lush berries and branches on the nose. Drinks lighter than the eye would have you believe.

This wine needs a chill, and it prefers food. Tastes wonderful alongside charred meats, funky cheeses, anything mushrooms.
