2023 Jumbo Time Wines 'Group Hug' Apple/Carignan Pét Nat, Sonoma/Mendocino, CA

83% organic Gravenstein apples from orchards around Sebastopol, CA and 17% organic Carignan grapes from Hawkeye Ranch in Mendocino with a bit of the juice from last year's vintage to be extra swaggy. A bubbly, high-acid apple-grape wine. Not quite a cider, not quite a wine, all the best of both. There’s crunch from the apples, round plummy fruit and zipping texture. Perfect when you have just enough time to open a bottle before dinner.
