2023 Martvilis Marani ‘Martha’ - Imereti, Georgia

This summer crusher is a blend of white and red grapes: 98% Tsolikouri 2% Aladasturi. Fermented on wild yeasts with 100% skins for one day and aged 6 mos in Qveri, unfined and unfiltered. No added SO2.

Beautiful ruby color and super glou-glou. Notes of cranberry, Rainier cherry, raspberry jam, watermelon rind and freshly dried herbs. Clean as a whistle, fresh, light, and dry. Great on its own or paired with lighter fare like soft fresh cheeses, roasted veggies, fish, and poultry.
