2023 Matic Wines Kerner, Stajerska, Slovenia

Kerner is a fun, fruity, and crisp varietal. All organically farmed, rested on the skins for 36 hours after pressing, then 6 months in stainless steel with the fine yeasts present. Floral on the nose, tropical fruit on the palate, a bit of earth and smoke on the finish. Perfect on its own or paired with lighter fare like seafood, citrus salads, and grilled white meat.
